Remember, any donation to an Electoral District Association, such as ours, is eligible for a generous tax credit of 75% for the first $400. Or, put another way, if you donate $40, once you get your tax credit of $30 the net cost to you will only be $10! And we would rather have a 1000 people donate $40 than a lot fewer who donate more as it is the number of voters that matters. Sure, the financial aid helps but it is the vote that counts.
